Even though the figures are well made I don't think this line is too popular so I wouldn't hold my breath.

...bumpity-bump !

...without assuming too much....what are the chances that April's releases may include some of the 'wish-list' Jacobite figures ?......April is the month of the final battle....

...fingers crossed..... :wink2:

April would be a fitting month to start releasing some of those fine sculpts John was making for our favorite series. I think it is still a popular series and the new figures will sell quite well when they're finally released. I'm guessing the line of projects of John's waiting for factory time is pretty long...... Right now I'm just hoping to see the 'wish list' figures released sometime this year.

....a quick recap of things so far regarding the Jacobite Rebellion wish-lists....

Kick-off = ...the reveal of the new 'Lowlander Charging Flag Bearer' (Lord Ogilvy Regt.?).....this will be a personal favourite as the Standard was raised not far from where I am.....

Winner of Sept Poll - 33 votes - 'British Grenadier Drummer'........what a great figure he is.....

Winner of Oct Poll - 22 votes - 'British Line Casualties' (Pair)......will certainly help with the action diorama's......superb sculpts....

Winner of Nov Poll - 27 votes - 'British Sergeant(s)'....and oh, how surprised were we when it turned out there was a pair of them, both 'Hatman' and Grenadier......superb !.......clearly we are being spoiled.....

Winner of Dec Poll (?) - currently 'only' 21 votes ( :( ) .... - highly likely to be 'British Artillery Crew Defending'.....which will no doubt look wonderful and be most welcome by all who favour this range...and probably used for other periods....(yet to establish if there are 2 / 3/ or dare I say it, 4 figures in this Defending group)....this will require a suitable piece of artillery (forget 'subtle' hint, it's an instruction ! :wink2: ).....

...2014 will be a great year when these eventually start being released.....the problem will be deciding how many of each to purchase.....a nice problem to have !

...we have been extremely lucky to have been gifted the chance to pick these figures....it's not too late to bump up the Dec Poll results with more votes.....so come on....keep voting.....and we may get future chances to select 'our' figures.....

...you know you want to....

...especially as next time it will be MORE Lowlanders....

...I can feel it !

:) :) :)

....whilst reviewing the previous 'wish-list' winners....I had forgotten the order of winners.....we've had the two British Sergeant figures (from Nov'13)....with the previous months (Oct'13) winner, British Line Casualties, yet to be released.....the sample photo of the master figures looked great....

wounded.jpg

....still no hint as to how the British Artillery Crew Defending will look....or indeed, how many figures will make up the set....2/3/4 ?.....maybe a Set A / Set B ?.....

....with a suitable artillery piece....;)

...and more LOWLANDERS....

...and....and.....and......! :):):)

Wonder if the new series Outlander has attracted anymore collectors to this range.

...bumpity-bump ! (hint, hint time ^&grin )

...remember these great Jacobite polls of nearly 2yrs ago....{eek3}

...whilst we all wait with bated breath for news of the latest releases.....hoping that each of our desires and wishes are met, I still wonder what the British Artillery Crew Defending will look like....or indeed, how many figures will make up the set....2/3/4 ?.....maybe a Set A / Set B ?.....

....with a suitable artillery piece....:wink2:

...hopefully this is still on John's very busy radar !
