All good ideas. Good use a few walls/scenery pieces and an artillery piece, myself.:smile2: -- Al

...yes, yes......those will do very nicely.....two sets of those as a minimum thank-you-very-much !

...I can already imagine the chap on the left (on the ground) being faced off 'JR-21 Highlander Attacking 3'....as he brings down his bayonet....

...and then the chap on the right (looks to be thrown off guard whilst 'Defending') will look great alongside his fellow 'BJ-03 British Line Defending Pair'....and being attacked by the likes of 'JR-05 Highlander Attacking 1' and / or 'JR-06 Highlander Attacking 2'...

...oh, what fun we will have ! :wink2:

Really enjoy seeing John's work in progress. These casualty figures for Barrell's 4th will be a great addition to the series.

Looks like they'll soon be joined by a much needed NCO. :smile2: - Thanks John.

...the British Sergeant is just holding on at the front (this months winner?).....closely followed by Extra Highlanders and a Royal Ecossois Standard Bearer....(sounds like a scene from the battle ?)......if the voting tied all three figures at the same level......would we get all three made ? (hint, hint, get yer votes in !).....:smile2::smile2:

...I wonder how the painting is going with the previous 'winners'.....the British Drummer and the Lord Ogilvy Regt Standard Bearer.....I'm sure they will look fantastic !...

.... And will the British Sergeant be a line company ''hatman'', or a grenadier?

...I'd be inclined to think he would be a Grenadier.....as I get the feeling that John has already created a few figures based on what is shown in the David Morier painting - "An Incident In The Rebellion of 1745" ("The Battle of Culloden").....

...on the right side of the painting it can be seen that there is a Grenadier NCO holding a spontoon, moving forward with the rest of the Grenadiers.....and then to the right of him is what appears the partial image of a "hatman" NCO also with a spontoon....

...I think Grenadier....or, because we're heading towards Christmas, why not make one of each ! (Santa will be pleased  ) ...

Well it looks like I may get my NCO's after all. Can't wait for the next poll!!
{sm0}

I would like to see more firing line positions (at the ready, loading, an additional firing set etc.) for the Royal Ecossois added to the poll. Piper, Sergeant, Colour Bearers are all great - But up to now there are only 2 sets of 2 figures each for the firing line itself. Could use a few more 'position players' before worrying about the supporting cast.

...and would it be safe to state on this fine frosty morning (-1 :wink2:)....that the British (Grenadier) Sergeant is the winner...?

...just been reviewing the existing troops, and....

...anyone for Lowlanders Firing ?......standing / kneeling / firing musket / firing pistol / loading...

...I could really do with a few of these...

I would love to have some Lowlanders Firing......standing / kneeling / firing musket / firing pistol / loading...
Just as soon as John finishes releasing all of those for the Royal Ecossois . :wink2:

...they look stunning.....I can't wait to get a hold of them and place them 'in line'.....we are truly grateful to be allowed to help influence all of these new figures.....

Wonderful figures.... Looking forward to acquiring all these great upcoming releases for the '45.

Just love the look of these new figures guys...BUT!!!..I had really-really-really hoped that they were to be Grenadiers. having said that i will of course still purchase them when they arrive on the market!!...A sergeant, Grenadier + Foot armed with a Pike/Spontoon or whatever they call those things would also be very welcome, and please-please if you are planning any further English wounded figures...Make them GRENADIERS!!!!!!!!!!.
