This poster by Bill Hocker is a good expression of the lifelong pleasure many of us experience with our hobby. I started at about age 12 and am still enjoying collecting toy soldiers in my 60s.

I received my first set of Britains when I was in the third grade and have never stopped. The friends I have made among dealers and collectors have added so much to collecting and I don't intend to stop now.

Randy,

A well selected theme and very timely too.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

I remember that there was a scene in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang where the grandfather (played by Lionel Jeffries) was playing with toy soldiers. That's the kind of nostalgic appeal of our great hobby exemplified in this poster.
