A small group of 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Cavalrymen in the final minutes before they are overwhelmed by Sioux and Cheyenne warriors.

This little scene must have been repeated many different times during that terrible morning battle on the banks and slopes of the Little Big Horn River on June 25, 1876.
