I think you are correct Steve bad weather is approaching, I'm not sure I would like to be aboard the boat now.

Reversing the previous scene from wharf, to open ocean, a stoke of genius Steve. Robin.

The Mediterranean can be scary. Dad was stuck on it in a storm on a large cargo vessel with some others and many got sick. Dad always says he's glad he never had to travel that sea in a trireme. Even worse to go from Biscay to Britain on the edge of the Atlantic! Perfect scene of Roman mariners and crew.

Yes, been having a little creative burst of late Robin !

Yes Sea travel in those ancient vessels must of been very risky, at least with a Trireme I would think, assuming you had a full compliment of healthy rowers, (Nope not slaves as Ben Hur would have us believe) it would make the Trireme capable of a good turn of speed when needed, not like the huge Grain ships sailing between Egypt and italy and reliant on wind, oh how they must of just wallowed in even anything but the calmest of seas.
