Thanks Guy,
half a 6 inch plumbing plastic pipe covered with corrugated card from art shop, a touch of balsa and super glue; spray in rapid succession with a cheap dark primer, dark green modellers paint, and semi-red touch-up paint from Supa Cheap Autos at long-arm's-length for the rust haze (wet overlays produce a random blend that looks more realistic than deliberate layering); then paint frames and wooden bits Khaki and finally wash over the lot when dry with dark immersion wash. Go-to-whoa about an hour-and-a-half. Most difficult stage was cutting the pipe. Most expensive part was the pipe - a metre length cost $30 at the Hardware store but it is enough for a dozen huts.
