Those at the symposium also went to see Lawrence Lo's collection. Here are some images from that experience:

That's what I have for Lawrence. Again, thanks to Lawrence for showing the collection and to Brad for the photos.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures of Larry's equally incredible collection and for the lack of more pictures. I was on sensory overload by then and hadn't bought the tripod with me. Perhaps Bill Sager got better pictures. Maybe Louis can comment later but I believe he said that in the really old K & C Larry's collection is better than his.

Wow, Larry you have a great collection and I am a lucky man that I looked twice at those photos: I thought I saw 2 Hurricanes first time around but it was the same one in the mirror. Otherwise you'd have had my kidney in the post for that 'duplicate' in your collection ...

Larry does in fact have a better collection of the pre-1990 figures than I do, in that he has more of the presentation boxes, some better condition figures which were never removed from their boxes, and about 12 figures I don't have. I cannot overstate how impressive the early presentation boxes (which held 36 foot or 12 mounted figures) look. This is one of the reasons that Hans, Larry and I are cooperating on the book, between the three of us, we have all but about 20 figures Andy ever produced, about 70 different warbirds, all of the buildings and diorama pieces that were produced for sale, several custom building and diorama pieces, and all but one of the vehicles Andy ever produced (the resin and metal Hanomag produced in 1996).
