The Lesser spotted Ho Ni (1 Viewer)

Good Morning, Steve.

Nice looking Ho-Ni. I have not seen them up close so thanks for the great photo ... as well as a nice diorama.
I only have a few T.G. figures but hope to get more.

Sadly, they go "SOLD OUT" to fast for me to react. I do have some of the T.G. marching figures on the way for my "Fall of Singapore" dio I have been working on.
They do go well with K&C sets, thankfully.

The Ho-Ni was only used late in the war, mostly (I think) in the battle for the Philippines. Many were held in reserve for the "anticipated" US invasion of mainland Japan, which, THANK GOD, never happened.

Good way to start my Sunday with a Steve from Guildford Pacific diorama.

Many thanks!

PS: I forgot to mention that I really like the "reuse" of the T.G. RS031B gun figures for this scene.
You do have a great knack for using figures from on set for used in another scenario.

You are truly a man with vision.

Sometimes the "VISION" is a bit scary though!! ....{sm2}

Hi Larry
Yep, as you say, though I have read that there were some in Burma late in the war, though I haven't been able to pin their use to any particular action there.

I picked mine up, New last week on ebay for £62 including postage the equivalent of less than $80 US.

Hard to turn down at that price

Glad you liked the display mate.

Steve
