Hi Guys,

Well good news lads, our ‘Master Painter’ was enjoying himself so much he completed this little masterpiece in record time...

And here it is alongside the USMC version as well as on display with our ‘Saigon Embassy TrioVN034 and a pair of ‘ARVN MPsVN098.

Now, before anyone asks which version do I prefer... I have to admit I like ‘em both and will use them in different scenarios... I’m biased of course... But, how about you guys what do you think...?

All the best and have a great weekend!
Andy

They sure ! Great to have choices

Thanks Guys, always appreciated… I’ve liked the M151 for a long time and knew, sooner or later, that K&C would introduce this particular vehicle into our ‘Vietnam’ series.

I’m also happy to be producing these two particular versions and using them in multiple dioramas and displays…lots of fun and plenty of possibilities.
All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.

I would love to see a Sheridan tank.

Nice idea my friend…But I would rather see an M48A3 first!
All the best,
Andy.

Looking good for the range's future !
Yes yes a Sheridan would be great too as would an ARVN M41 Walker Bulldog and a Cadillac Gage Commando armoured car could do ARVN and US M.P versions a Willys jeep for ARVN QC and or White Mice would be good too. The list of suggestions is endless !{sm3}

Sheridan tank. Tamiya model I built over 40-years ago, when I was teenager. I like the design with the "snapping turtle" turret, smoke grenades and the driver hatch under the barrel.IMG_1393.JPGIMG_1394.JPGIMG_1395.JPG
Sorry, I don't know how to make the photos larger.

I totally agree Steve ‘the list of suggestions is endless’…Only our production capacity is limited!

Back in 2018 when we launched this series with the TET Offensive in Hue, a couple of collectors actually said to me ‘was I worried that the Vietnam War might be limited in subject matter?’

I replied at the time that I thought ‘Vietnam’ had ‘Long Legs’ with plenty of scope for development and creativity…Your thoughts, suggestions and ideas plus all the others from other collectors and some K&C dealers is ample proof of that.

Thanks again…and keep ‘em coming…All the best,
Andy.

Andy reminds me of a Michelin Star Chef who serves a 5 star dinner only to be greeted by questions about breakfast as patrons barely have time to compliment him about his current servings.

Hi Guys,
Can anyone please ‘translate’ the above..?
Thanks,
Andy.

I'll give it a go Andy.
Perhaps a thoughtful reflection of our forum friend Bromhead and hopefully I've got the jist of his comments meanings in the feeling at the time and for some time after of his return from Vietnam of the contempt held for him from some of his fellow Americans that he and his fellow veterans received returning from service in Vietnam.
As opposed to the perceived way those returning from wars overseas are now judged, in that they are welcomed back on their return and how it that feels even today though they may receive the casual "Thank you for your Service" line, it still doesn't feel sincere and just a little bit of guilty self conscious awkwardness might creep into those who remember those times and to some of those veterans how strange perhaps it is to him having been in that war and now for collectors to be wanting figures that reminds of his younger self in the Army as I suppose it does to veterans of other wars.
Anyway that's what I translate Bromheads comments as !
