As previewed at the Dec 6th London Show our second release is:-

The Leyland Mobile Workshop.

As the mechanised army was developing there was an increasing need for support in the field. Very quickly, specialised vehicles were created which could repair and service the artillery batteries in situ or the steam engines required to haul the heavy guns or even the fledgling RFC with their aero engines.

Our model is presented with the roof removed but showing the opening side panels which revealed the working contents.
A lathe, workbench, pillar drill, bandsaw etc. are all provided along with 2 operatives.
In addition we have the hapless sergeant scratching his head as the Waaf asks if he can fix her bicycle wheel. ( This is photo etched on the production version.)

Available in Khaki and in Matte or Gloss this set is priced at £265.

In production as we speak, contact us at "info@themodelarmoury.co.uk"

In response to a number of queries the price as advised is for within the EEC and includes the 20% vat surcharge.
For customers outside the EEC the net cost for the mobile workshop would be £220.

Hope that helps.

Clive

Clive,

I managed to pick up one of your fantastic vehicles from Tom Dubel. Really spectacular! Wish I could have gotten my hands on some others!

They really are incredible collectibles, I'd certainly be chasing them if I was into WW1 British stuff.

I had a couple of these and they were really well done but didn’t fit into what I was collecting at the time. There are still many sets listed on the Grey Goose site but I don’t know if Clive has them in stock anymore.

Thanks Brad, I'll have a look.
