CF039 HRH Princess Elizabeth (ATS)
Towards the end of the Second World War, in February 1945, at the age of 18, Princess Elizabeth joined the Women’s Auxiliary Territorial Service as a Second Subaltern.
She trained as a driver/mechanic and, five months later, was promoted to “Junior Commander”. Wartime photos show the young princess working on a range of different British Army vehicles including two that K&C have previously released – the Austin K2 Military Ambulance and the ubiquitous Austin Utility better known as the “Tilly”.

This new K&C Collectors Club figure shows HRH Princess Elizabeth wearing typical ATS officer’s service dress and “saluting to the front”.

Nice looking figure, I will get it when my renewal is up. But just wish Andy would do a modern club figure, gulf war us marine or Falklands para. Maybe one day.

Nice figure, but the saluting aspect really limits the use in dio's. Robin.

The only thing I see wrong with the figure is that the real Queen Elizabeth never smiles. She's always dour.

She is always smiling especially when her horses win.......................^&grin
