Dear Harry
Thank you for constantly encouraging me to complete this work. It should be said that from a few years ago, and I meet you in the hobbybunker forum, you are always concerned about my work has been enthusiastically support my design work.
I was born in Tianjin, a folk artists of the family, my grandfather and his brothers along with operating a foundry bronze works of art, when their main work is statue and Cross. 1949 years later, our family business has been stolen by Communist Party members , my grandfather became a worker of his own enterprise. My father was a respected mechanical engineer, my occupation is computer programming and teaching.
I learned carving and casting techniques from my grandfather and grandmother. At that time to learn this technology is also prohibited, as we cast the Cross, carving The Passion of the Christ.
80 years, my family's house was to remove by the new generation of dictators. The building used to be my grandfather's factory.
In the wills, my grandfather asked brothers and I inheriting his artistic style, and reconstruction his factory.
Therefore, I still did not give up efforts, especially in the credit crisis, we still produce the traditional Chinese statues and crosses.
Toy soldier of love always encouraged me to design a unique work. At present, China's domestic taobao in online sales were not painted the color of WWII toy soldier kit. If possible, I will sacrifice for collectors all over the world the most unique Chinese style toy soldier.
thank Harry and the other friends in the forum once again .

Dear Harry
Thank you for constantly encouraging me to complete this work.

You are very welcome Sunyi. I find this to be a simply fascinating thread and I will be showing it to my wife when I get home to Dalian.
The traditional Chinese statues exhibit a style that I am familiar with and they are stunning.
As for dictators, they are everywhere we look around us, or would-be dictators, I should say. Some of them have high positions of power in Beijing, but most are very small people who's only importantance resides in their own imaginations.

Thank you for sharing your manufacturing process with us and I look forward to your further posts.

Regards
Harry

Harry:
Many years ago, I read a book of tocqueville that named "On the Democratic U.S". I know democracy is a concept first, Chinese People should first change in the ideology of their own ideas.Universal values of all the Chinese people to accept, and can not rely on themolecular of Communist Party conscience.
I have full confidence in China's future.
