Have just got the new KT.What a superb model it is,awsome. Was not really sure i should get it when it was announced, sooooo glad i did now!.Love the paint scheme. What on earth must it have been like to face one of these monsters on the battlefield.?.

I know what you mean Rob, i paid a visit to the Nevilles new unit up in durham the other day and was shown the new tank in all its glory... Think i will have to get myself one of them and would urge others to get one aswell.

Was very impressed during my visit at the range of products that the Nevilles keep and that Tony took the time out from a busy schedule to show me round other items of their stock.

Thanks

Maximo, your so lucky, would love to go there. But i can imagine my credit card company taking out a restraining order on me!!.

The Nevilles are the best. When I went to London to get engaged back in March, 1993, the Nevilles invited me to join them at a toy soldier show (I think it was in Wembley) Even my then future wife had a good time with them. There are terrific (as are many K&C dealers) and I am thrilled that Mike is joining us at the Symposium next month.

Guys

Louis, Maximo thanks for the kind words

ALL are welcome to the 'UNIT' as we call it. just to update that Mum and DAD (Sue & Mike) are still based in the K&C UK office in Fareham on south coast at moment but have sold their house and found a new one up by me in Durham (babysitters yeah!!).

Anybody wishing to come to us please just give me a call. We will have a showroom ready in the coming weeks but i must say with all th eorders we are getting at the moment myself and Dispatch Dave are busy doing those.

We will have what is no doubt the largest collection of K&C old and new outside of the factory and shop in HK. But Rob yes your right make sure you have a Pass from the wife and a fully loaded Credit card. We cannot be held responsible for anybosy health POST visit:D .

Monty and Maximo have both been gobsmacked after seeing all teh K&C items in one place.

We have tea and coffee and soft seating so as i say anybody welcome. If you come to the UK as well we are just up from the histroic city of Durham a must to see with its cathedral and castle.

All are welcome. Monty next time tell the wife where you are going!!!

XXXX WARNING VISITING K&C UK WAREHOUSE IS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTHXXXXXX:D

I am so glad that Durham is far enough away from Birmingham. Otherwise i'd be in trouble.
The only time i've ever been in the North East was to change trains for Edinburgh at Newcastle!

Don't forgt historic Newcastle and St Mary's lighthouse as must see items. Durham and Newcastle both have good military museums as well.

Hadrians wall as well - Housesteads for example - for you Roman collectors.

Rob, on the battlefield there weren't that many ( about 50 in the Battle of the Bulge ) and those that came along were plagued by lack of petrol and sometimes mechanical problems, the end was near for Nazi Germany. So I've read somewhere.
I just got mine today, and it's really huge, I like the new painting better than the old one, very nice.

H. collecting,
Paulo

Hi Paulo, you would have thought fifty of these monsters might have tipped the armoured balance, but as you say no fuel no go!.Agree with you about the paint work,i much prefer the new one.

In the midst of Rommel mania, don't overlook the repainted King Tiger. This is most impressive tank that I have seen from K&C. Let Rommel out of that tiny Greif from time-to-time to stretch his legs on this massive beast.
