Has anyone had any dealings or transactions with The Old Toy Soldier Home? Trying to order something and can't seem to make contact through e-mail or phone.^&confuse

Saw them in Chicago. Craig and Woody are going strong!

If you mean this: http://oldtoysoldierhome.com/

their main page says they're in the process of moving, and that their email address is now oldtoysoldierhome@att.net. Is that the email you're trying?

Beyond that, as far as I know, he's a long-established and well-known seller, of excellent repute.

Prost!
Brad

Yep. That's the one. Left several messages and no return calls. Thanks to all for the info and I'll try again.

I live about ten miles from the Old Toy Soldier Home.
This week. I will try to contact Craig.
He lives somewhere near the store's location.

Craig returned my phone call this afternoon.
His message said he has been ill and has spent time
in the hospital.
He said he wants to return everyone's messages. but
he is still not well.

I had a very pleasant chat with Craig this afternoon . . . even though still recovering from major surgery, he sounded like himself . . . cheery and aware. He wanted me to pass his good wishes along to Fotrum readers and remind them that his e-mail has changed to oldtoysoldierhome@att.net. (His phone number remains 760.758.5481.) Unfortunately, the web site was down for a while, but is up now though not updated. He asked that you contact him before ordering to ensure that the item is in stock.

I've known Craig for many years and he continues to amaze me! Having had major surgery once a year or so for all too many years, I've never known him to be anything but cheery and optimistic. Truely a an old trooper!

I am always amazed how Craig handles his incredibly debilitating injuries, yet manages to remain cheerful. Please give him my best wishes.:smile2:
