This Thread Is Intended For Capitalron.....my Orioles Who Just Swept The Redsox Are Sitting Pretty Good For The Mid Part Of May,can't Wait Til The Nationals To Show Up On Friday For A Good Ol A.. Beating!!!hhaa!! Just Kiddin Ron, I Do Think It Will Be A Great Series Nothing Like A I-95 Grudge Match....sammy

The Nationals had better watch out, the Orioles, after sweeping the Red Sox, are on a roll.............QUICK, any non Orioles fan, name me two starting positional players on the Orioles..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ok, times up. Like the Brewers of the 70's, Royals of the 80's and Twins of the 90's, the Orioles for whatever reason, God only knows, have given the Red Sox fits in their yard the past 8 years.

The comical thing is as a Red Sox fan, I've seen more Red Sox games in Baltimore than I have in Boston the last four years; a six hour ride down 95 and your there, the home away from home for the Red Sox, you'd think with all the fan support we give them, they'd do well there, but no..................

Somehow, the current MN Twins just took 3 out of 4 in their home series against the Red Sox this past weekend. :)

The murders row that they are.

I kind of feel bad for the Orioles; we took my Mother to see the Orioles vs the Red Sox last year for Mothers Day and the Red Sox won the game in the bottom of the ninth, the Orioles pulled one of the biggest gag jobs I've ever seen, the manager blew a head gasket in the dugout after the game.

That game will forever been known around these parts as the Mothers Day Miracle, too funny.........

I plan to go and catch a game this weekend- weather permitting ;)

This is a hard game for me - I have been a O's fan for years and had season tickets at the Yard when it open. But, the NATS are my home team and I must stick with them. Although I root for the Birds in the AL !

Alot of the time I wear a Nationals Jacket and a Orioles Shirt - really do love them both.

Oh divided loyality ! :D

No Ron, I think its okay if you've got an NL team and an AL team. For me its the Twins in the AL (lived in MN from 1970-1997) and the Brewers in the NL (living in WI since 1997). So I love going to the inter-league series games every year because whatever the outcome I am happy. The unlikely WS matchup would be a bit awkward I guess.

Sorry guys Cubs gonna do it this year I can feel it? I have a new plasma 60 inch hanging on the wall and the Cubbies are gonna make me proud? Hey Chicago whadda ya say the CUBS are gonna WIN today!!?

Go Orioles.
Love seeing them beat the Redsocks for my now 'dynasty' minded:rolleyes: friends and neighbors up here.;) I used to have divided loyalties for the Colts and Redskins but the move took care of that. So now, I hope to see the Skins beat the Patriots.:D

Yeah, seeing the Red Sox lose a two game series in May to the Orioles ruined the whole season for me, the Sox now have zero shot at the playoffs............

Well I wish I could say it was the Os that were going to displace them but you have to take your highs where you can find them, especially when the lows usually find you.;) After all, that is all Redsocks fans did for all those decades post Ruth:D

Yawn; and those days are a distant memory now, two World Series wins in four years, if Grady Little had a pair, it would be three out of the last four.

Wow, the O's won again Friday night; three in a row, they are on a roll now, watch out American League ;)...........

Oh the curse will return, it is just a question of when. Maybe after the Os win the Series.:D

Nope, the curse is dead, dead and buried, never to return. If the curse were still viable, the last two World Series wins would not have happened.

To be frank, the Red Sox get a pass for life as far as I'm concerned; I had the good fortune to see not one, but two World Series Championships in my lifetime, something my Grandfather and Uncle never did, and my other Uncle only got to see one of them, I'm forever thankful that he did................
