I happened to come onto this tonight. For the non lawyers, it's about the first year of law school, the most miserable year of law school. Hadn't seen this in years and it brought back a lot of memories. The contracts professor in the movie was a lot like the one I had and through him came to learn the Uniform Commercial Code.

I'm sure Louis and Bill can relate to being a 1L :)

Professor Charles Kingsfield: (John Houseman)

Sydney Freedberg, my professor at Harvard in Italian Renaissance Art, was very reminiscent of Houseman's character, so the film and later TV series brought back memories of my days at the Fogg.

I got a kick out of when he called on students who didn't want to be called on. How many times sis that happen to us.

I still remember what Hart did to his final exam result paper after Kingsfield gave it to him.

He folded it into a paper airplane and sent it flying out over the sea without looking at it.

Raymond.;):)

I liked the part where the Prof. gives one of his students a dime and tells him to call his mother and tell her he is not going to be a lawyer. LOL. Must have scared a lot of people away from law school.
