I plan on giving this series a chance, however without Batman this is just another crime story.

3 episodes in and I am still trying to figure this show out.

Maybe it is trying to be like the Joker movies, but those had Bruce Wayne undertones even if Batman is never directly shown.

 

[Combat]

It reminds me a bit of the Sopranos. Trying to make the Batman universe more of a gangster show. It's pretty well done.
