The Potters (1 Viewer)

It would drive me potty doing that job, because it is all clay and noplay, makes m a dull boy. Honestly just kiln me, i want to go out in a glaze of glory.
Do you have to be Clay-sically trained to do his job?

Another beautifully done vignette letting us take a peek at what life might have been like for the citizens of Rome. All the little extras laying around fascinate and helps to make the scene more realistic.

Steve - another great scene. Put all these together and you'll have the set for HBO's "Rome" in 1/30th scale.

Thanks Mike !
Yes there are a few caveats in the scene for sure, and I'm sure that the modern mostly tourist custom of breaking plates wasn't a done thing back then, but for a quick little fun scene, not too shabby !
Though I do have a couple of nit picks with the Potter figure, in that the figure isn't wearing any kind of Apron and I think one would of been appropriate and also there was the Roman version of the Potters wheel available, and would of liked to see potter using one. Other than that, it's a great little figure with some loose pots included in the set.

Cheers Brendan, yes that was quite a good show, though I'm pretty sure that Tunics weren't emblazoned with SPQR Eagles like modern Graphic design T Shirts ! 😂

Another interesting market scene Steve. There are a couple of figures here on my hit list. You have certainly embraced this series in a big way. Robin.

Eh, actually budget and space is dictating what I get of this range, would buy all but ...... Need to move on some of my older collection bits and pieces, that have been boxed up and put aside for a long time, easier said than done, parting with bits of my collection, and I'm sure many collectors feel the same, you want to hang on to pieces, but.... !
