Is there a story that goes with it?
 
The story of the diorama is that the Roman army commanded by Scipio is invading the great plains and seas of north Africa. After fighting for many years on Roman land, Hannibal is losing the battle and will eventually retreat. The battle tactic of piercing the deck of the Carthaginian ships to nail them together with a bridge so the legionnaires could rush aboard proved to be very effective. Greg.

A very good scene incorporating the galleys with a land action.
Hopefully John will produce a few elephants to finish off this wonderful series!

Great Carthaginian display! There never were enough Carthago figs - JJD rectified that & you put a great scene together!
