it didn't dawn on me that this was a remake til you mentioned it...

"Man in the Wilderness" was pretty good....he filmed that right around the time he did "A Man Called Horse"...

That's rarely a good sign. It means the movie is either terrible and they are trying salvage it or it's good and they are trying to dumb it down for the masses.

I see where it's being released in limited theaters Dec.25th and nationwide Jan.8th.I hope I'm one of the limited theaters.Lot of trouble on this film I hear on this film with crew members quitting or being fired.The director wanted such realism that it was hell to make.They went to some rugged areas in Canada and if you can believe this they went to Argentina because of a lack of snow in Canada.^&confuse
