Hi Treeforggers,

A couple of weeks ago I completed one of the dioramas we’ll be showing at the upcoming West Coaster in a couple of weeks.

It’s basically a length of road bordering a cemetery. At the show it will be seen with some of our latest releases.

However when I bring one of these displays in from the K&C Workshop Andy and yours truly like to try out different little sceneries to show how well it can work with a variety of different series… here’s the first one—“The Road to Dunkirk” which features a lot of “Fields of Battle” figures… our first release of civilian refugees and a few vehicles.

Hope you like it!
Best regards,

Gordon C. Neilson

P.S. The actual diorama size is 44” X 22”.

Wow that dio is excellent. I wonder if there is to be a "normandy" version of the bedford truck.

Keep it silly

A great display including General Lord John Gort, Commander BEF watching over.....

Thanks, Raymond.:smile2:

Terry,

Do you mean the Humber 4x4 Heavy Utility? I believe it’s one of the very early polystone vehicles but I would like to see it as a new release.

Jeff

I don't remember ever seeing that one? And the sculpting looks crisp for a very old model. It's not part of a series, is it. (I hope I'm not catching Rob fever ^&grin

What do you mean Rob fever!!:wink2:

Looks like another superb scene from Gordon, I wonder what will be placed on it at the Westcoaster. Our correspondents Howard and Joe will be busy!.^&cool:salute::

What a beautiful dio. Love the use of the FOB sets with all the activity. Really like the dio base, very detailed and real looking. The cemetery and walls just look great. Best part, to me, is the street with the rails running down the middle. -- Al

That is a fine diorama featuring one of my favourite lines (FOB). Looking forward to future releases for this line as its been awhile. ^&cool

A great display AAAAA+++++!!
I think it's a great dio for the new Volkssturm troops
and JAGDTIGER
On the West Coaster show.

Can not wait to see more!!

Not a very good close up but you can see that it was an early one, painted windows and all that.

Another museum quality display! You're getting quite good at this Gordon!:wink2:
Rob, you need to channel the spirit world to have a vision of a new piece!^&grin

I would really be suprised if this was in production before, I don't believe it has. off the top of my head it looks more like a command vehicle, perhaps for Monty??I'd say we need to go to Louis for a definitive answer on this one.

If I had this would be tempted to buy a glass showcase to display permanently. Very interesting dio. Cheers, Robin.
