Hi Guys,
Here is one more of the “CHICAGO” displays that’s already ‘winging’ its way over to the ‘Windy City’.
One small apology though... the FORT on display in Chicago will be the “Greystone” version not the “Sandstone” as seen here.
Also I fully intended taking more photos of the display from different angles but got ‘side-tracked’... When I came back to it... everything was already packed up and about to be shipped out to the States. Hence, just what you see here.
Of interest however is the fact that we used some of our civilian medieval figures in and around the display and... the fishing boat from “Life of Jesus” plus a few fisherman too... They work surprisingly well with the Romans – give or take a century or too!!!
Best wishes and ... enjoy!

Andy mate,
Great little Dio. Compliments to wee Gordie. The Archers look outstanding. I wish I was going to Chicago to see them first hand. Have a great Show.
Cheers Howard

Inspiring stuff. The road bridge looks great. The LOJ series works just fine with these Romans. Robin.

Since Legio XX never fought in the Middle East lets move the fort to Britain and get some British Celts.
A Celtic village outside the Roman fort would be a nice touch for future releases.
But of course we could always use our imaginations to place the Romans anywhere in their empire.

One of the great things about this hobby is...You never know your luck!

...And another great thing is that collector and manufacturer sometimes have similar ideas at roughly the same time!!!

Best wishes and happy collecting, Andy.

Andy:

Really splendid photo of your K&C Roman Fort and attached areas on display!
