017.JPG Hi Everyone. I looked through the WWI thread(36 pages) and thought it might be helpful to group some of the lesser known sets by country for more detail and quicker reference. I am certain you will agree that the detail on these flags is incredible. Tommy

Tommy,
Great sets! Always fun to see what you have hiding in the collection.:smile2: Have a Happy New Year and send my regards to Mike.
All the best,

Great thread Tommy, the detail on those flags is beautiful and the ammunition mule and handler are top shelf.

Rod Keys, of Trophy Salvation Army figure fame, had one of the largest collections of Trophy WW1 sets but he sold most, if not all of it, a few years ago

Great stuff Bill! Between you and Martyn, you must have virtually everything Len ever produced . . . you gentlemen should consider getting together and doing a book.:wink2:

Thanks Louis. There was some talk about a Trophy book after Len sold. It would be perfect for Martyn since he can utilize Len for information, history, and quotes. Tommy

011.JPG 001.JPG I do not have Set GW 51"Supply Wagon" nor a photo. It consists of two oxen pulling a four wheeled cart loaded with supplies, together with a walking drover and seated Russian with whip. The first photo is that of a German supply wagon in winter which is what GW51 would look like with Russian uniforms and bases earlier posted in this thread according to my recent conversation with Len. The second photo is that of GWD10, a larger set commissioned by Rod Key from the Isle of Wright, who Martyn mentioned earlier in this thread. I have never seen set GW51 and if anyone has a photo, please post it for us. Otherwise, this completes Trophy's "The Russian Army of World War One, The Road to Tannenberg". Hope you enjoyed this thread. Tommy
