One of the Mollos, John or Andrew, was an advisor to the film for "Barry Lyndon", for period costumes and uniforms. From contemporary illustrations, it looks like the dress is very accurate. I think there are some inaccuracies in the Prussian sequences, in that the regimental colors and regimental uniform details don't quite match, but otherwise, the battle scenes look great. I enjoy the film, though it is a little long, and visually, it's very well done.

Please tell me about the box I think this looks like its inside.
I would like to make up some permanent displays, but really need to start with a great glass box....

Look forward to seeing how this pans out, the matt is really nice, as is the backdrop.
