:DI have noticed over the last few months that not much has been said about John Jenkins Quebec series....I have collected this set and have enjoyed anything new ......but it seems Monongahela has bcome very popular .......is there any chance to have some more Quebec !!!!!!!! and is there anyone else that enjoys this set.......p.s. Being a Canadian with British Heritage this has been a set I have enjoyed collecting.....:D

You're not alone. Having moved back to FIW & Rev. War country (betw. Lakes
Ontario & Oneida), and having been to Quebec City several times, I've really been enjoying collecting the Siege series. Like you, I've been hoping for more figures. Also, if we've had a RR whaleboat, might there be a time in the future when we'll have Wolfe & Co. being rowed ashore?:D:D:D

It is my second favorite JJD series behind the Jacobites. This was the first series from JJD that I collected and I still add to it where I can. I really like the 47th Ft. and the La Sarre Regt. -- Al

I have several of the items centred around Death of Wolfe which gives me examples of the Louisberg Grenadiers, and Retreat of Montcalm which gives me 3 examples of la Regiment de la sarre. Add a couple of blue coated French marines, a few 28th foot and the respective la Sarre flag and British King's colours and it makes a nice display.

I think Quebec will be picking up now that BOS appears to be phasing out. We need more FRENCH. Particularly flag bearers and grenadiers. :)

John did tell me that more French for Quebec were coming this year.
I think he told me they would be marching figures and flag bearers.

Definitely need more French to attack the British lines. Still many colorful French regiments and flags to be done. -- Al

Actually...this series (POA) has gotten a lot of attention since inception...

John's "Annual" list 37 sets produced for it to date...

far overshadowing anything but Monongahela with 41 sets...

it appears the Annual doesn't cover any releases from Nov 2009 til current...

with many sets to add to these totals since it was written...

5-6 months worth of releases unlisted...

but the Annual shows...as of Nov 2009...

Snow Shoes has 23 sets listed...

St. Francis has 23 sets listed...lots of them structures...

1812 has 19 sets listed...

Jacobites has 14 sets listed...

of course...there have been many releases since the Annual was written...but POA has gotten a lot of releases overall.

You can go to John Jenkins Designs website and look on Ebay as many of these sets are retired.....
Treefrogtreasures may have some available as well.

The display was done in 2010 and the pieces are scattered around the display room. That gives me a good reason to put them all in one group.

Here is a database of quebec sets which goes up to early 2014 but there have been more released since then
