Those are great figures Harry.
Truly makes me want to collect SOHK. Funny thing but before seeing your pics I never really payed the series any attention. I know Pierre is another big fan of teh series. Maybe we could get him to post some pictures of his collection as well. I think Louis also has quite a collection. It would be good to get all those pictures up on one thread.

I completly agree Damian. It would be great if Pierre, Louis, Jeff, or anyone else would post their displays here. And it doesn't need to be just K&C SOHK or IC either.
This is The Asian thread.
I'd love to see EofI, Tinbox, or, what's that manufacturer of Samurai figures that Canadian Samurai collects?

Cheers
H

Harry,

Those are great displays, my wife would like to know where She can get some of those mini screens from?

A couple of small sets from (our) collection.

Did you guys read that article in TSMF about that collector who has a huge colection of SHOK and has built a whole diorama of old Hong Kong. It had really good photographs of the whole thing really great.

I know I've posted these elsewhere Jeff, but maybe visitors to our new thread haven't seen these ones. I think they show those miniature screens to their best advantage.
Love your sets - there's some there that we don't have yet.

This is an old photo, since this was taken the SOHK collection has been moved to a more suitable curio cabinet, in other words to give me more room in mine :D.

I know we're supposed to be looking at the figures (beautiful by the way!) but with our day after day after day of frigid temperatures here in Minnesota through this endless winter what grabs me about this photo is how WARM and tropical it looks what with the sunshine and the flowering plants and all. No wonder the figures are all happy and playing music and everything. They are so grateful it's balmy where they are they just can't help themselves.
By the way, you said you had difficulty getting TS&MF magazine where you are. They now have an online subscription that would work for you. It's laid out like the print version and you just have to click to turn the pages. Worth looking into.
Regards,

Aye well, ummm, thanks for that.....but, errrmm.....scanned copies are free..!! :D:D:D Only kiddin', Harry Lauder and the rest of his music hall crew have a lot to answer for....
I'll have a look at the on-line deal when I get around to it - and I might as well have a look at subscribing to the BBC History magazine while I'm at it.
Cheers

BBC History is a great mag! I'd subscribe to it also, if I didn't get to read it for free at work:D.

What are those gnome type figures there Harry. Not the K and C ones.
Regards
Damian
