Blockhouse #3 and #4 arrived today. Here's what all 4 blockhouses look like on (much to my wife's chagrin) our dinning room table (4'x5' oval - looks like I am going to have to put more leaves in). I have decided to create a reasonable model of Fort Cocke which was built at Washington's direction in late 1755 along Patterson's Creek. Its main purpose was to provide security for supplies going east to Fort Ashby 12 miles downstream (and eventually to Fort Cumberland) and going south to Pearsall's stockade (headed toward Fort Loudoun - Washington's HQ at Winchester, VA.). Waiting on the stockade and gate sets - 2 sets preordered.

Fort Cocke was 90 foot square. That's about 37.5" square to scale for JJD figures. That will be a table full! Its time for some imagination now.

I think this will look very impressive. Those blockhouses are imposing!

And any way, what else are dinner tables for? ;)

Yeah, when is the last time you actually ate there? Nicely done. Can't wait to see it with the gates and stockades, and filled to the brim with guys.

Congratulations Mike

Boy oh boy the 4 blockhouses are really impressive. You are one lucky JJ collector. You were definitely smart to grab these before they are all gone. I can't wait to see the stockade with it. Next you will need some ground cover, trees, and other scenery. I think you also will need another table:D
