The Stug III Ausf. G Late Model (GA-21) is Fantastic! (1 Viewer)

In anticipation of the upcoming JJD Panzer crew figure sets, I decided to get the late-model Stug III Ausf. G. I have had the Grossdeutschland Stug since it was released in early 2019 and passed on this model for nearly a year until this week. The second version is a beautiful model and certainly the best of John’s Stug IIIs!

Here’s my little vignette using War Park Panzer crew figures and Thomas Gunn SS troops:

Very insightful. And one of the tigers apparently had two claws, and another four. And why would two sets consist of only light-shaded scratches, while the other two are BOTH LIGHT AND DARK???

I SERIOUSLY suspect that this sort of thing is why some TS-Makers don't want to get involved in WW2 Germans.

I think that some of the figs are Thomas Gunn sets.

Thanks Mike! The TG SS figures (released last year) are smaller than the older TG figures and actually compare very well in size to the FL Germans and War Park figures. Here’s a size comparison pic of figures in similar poses from Thomas Gunn (left); First Legion (center); and War Park (right). You can see there isn’t much of a size difference between them.
