Hi guys, i just got back from chicago and i have to tell you that after seeing the king tiger in person that there is no way i would skip purchasing this tank. Pictures do not do this justice. When you see the take loaded up with tank riders, and realize that that there is enough space to properly put them on and after you see the sublety of the camo paint job you will know why i am so excited. So my advice to all members is to purchase this beauty. I also attended the dinner at chandlers chop house and i must say that everybody invovled did a fabulous job. The food was great, the talks were great and the fellowship among our fellow collectors was priceless. So i just wanted to say thanks and hope we can do it again next year. As far as andy doing a jagdtiger or su152 there is hope yet.

I get the picture remark, but some of us are unable to be there. Where can I see a picture of this?

But is the Tiger KoningsTiger witer enough for the Battle of the Bulge counter attack dio?

Nearly all of the Tiger II's with Peiper were finished in the ambush scheme, the K&C KT is perfect for a BOB dio:)

I agree, now I only need to find somebody to repainted my second and third Tiger.

why dont you wait awhile before buying multiple KT's.

i'm quite sure K&C will repaint this one sometime in the future, just like the previous KT.

This is a Belgian thing... And I want to finish my diorama quite soon:)

I hope they repaint one for Market Garden as the King Tiger was used at Arnhem

Many Thanks for the review , I was realy interested to see how this piece looked first hand, because as you have said pictures never realy give you
the true quality of a set.

From what I have seen at least some of the Tiger IIs used by s.H.Pz.Abt.506 at Market Garden had factory paint schemes like the one on K&C's. If you can get past the blue numerals which appear to be unique to 3./s.SS.Pz.Abt.501 then you could use K&C's for Market Garden.

I could be wrong but I also beleive that Hawkeye said that Andy told him he might make a Jagtiger. I wasn't privy to the conversation so you'll have to ask Hawkeye directly.
