these 2 sets I like very much,
could you tell me, which producers made them please ?

Hi Hadrian,

Thank you for your note.
These are sets produced in 54mm by Charles Stadden, back in the 60´s/70´s.
I also like them very much and am very happy when I can find some sets for sale.
Charles Stadden is very well known for his great Napoleonic and Victorian sets.......
To acquire Stadden´s the best way is by visiting the several toy shows that take place in the UK and US....
Or like in my case, have a friend visit the fair and buy them for you.
Regards,

That is a great idea.!!! Some day I need to go to one....unfortunately I cannot indulge in a similar trip just now.....{sm4}{sm4}...too far and too expensive....have to relay on my network of lookouts....:D:D
If you see something nice and there is enough to split with me .... count me in.....:D:D:)

Cheers

A rare to find 40 pdr British siege gun manned by a garrison of Charles Stadden Royal Artillery......great set...
We normally see it being limbered up on a Mountford version or limbered and being dragged along.....Well now, thanks to Obee we have it in action!
Cheers A_C

.....This weekend I sent some quality time with by eldest son putting together a frontier outpost using some ( of the few ) Desert village sets made by K&C .... I was very surprised by the outcome and how it could easily work for Victorian troops in India, Sudan .....In a sequence of posts I will share with you all the great diorama that came out of a few ideas and lots of imagination......Next, I came up with a very nice defensive square the British Army set up to defend themselves from a Fuzzy Wozzy Attack.....with a final coup de êtat by a Lancers charge putting the enemy under cross fire with the square... Cheers
