Kelly's Heroes Tigers sell legit for $1000 without trying. I think Matt just sold one on his site for over a grand. Ebay I think the last one sold was higher than that. Certain items will always bring money.

It also depends on who is selling and the time horizon they have.

What is not going for crazy money is just any retired piece. Put an Honour Bound Sherman or Tiger up Gold or not and it will not last long. Neither will early First Legion Vehicles and of course certain K&C and Figarti ones.

Put an Aeroart PB Knight with large flag up - goes from anywhere $1500 to $2500.

Just all depends on the piece.

From what I understand, tank was not sold at the show, was removed from show and was put on website. Lasted an hour, then sold.

That is what I was told.

I would venture if you put a Kelly's Heroes Tank new in the box and were patient, I would bet you would get a large sum on ebay.

That tank was part of a collection I was offered that I did not get, seller never countered my offer/chose to sell it to another dealer. He got a better offer, good for him.

In 2026, collections are like buses; if you miss one, another will come along in 10 minutes.

Mike Jones and I just bought a huge K & C/Blackhawk/WB/Conte collection, it took Mike two trips to Yonkers and 10 hours to pack all the figures back into their boxes, we offered more than another dealer did, so I/we got that one, the other dealer did not.

Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug.

And it's not big secret/mystery that very rare, hard to find items are still going to sell at good money; the thousands of other very common, easy to find items are not.

That's like telling me a 67 Shelby Mustang goes for huge money; gee, shocking, never saw that coming.

I am always amazed when I sell part of my collection.

The piece that I thought no one would want sells almost immediately and the so-called, rare items seem to last forever.

Only 2,400 or so Shelby Mustang GT 500s were made so they cost a few hundred thousand. The 350s are more prevalent but still pricey. Just sell a few collections and you can get one.

I'm more of a 1970 Chevelle SS man, 454 motor, blue with white racing stripes, functional cowl induction hood, black interior, one can be had for only 70 grand.

Respectfully I will take a 2027 Shelby GT500.

It might cost twice as much as the classics but it does have 800HP.

Also, no need to search eBay for them, they are readily available at dealerships.
