Static warfare on the Western front during The Great War required constant repair of trenches, communication lines and barbed wire. British trenches often were water logged and in some sectors it was not unusual to see men in waders if they were available. Our next release reflects these details...

"The Work Party" set No.2 the men head to the front with tools, a roll of barbed wire and some of the iconic "pigtails".

One of the men pauses to trade rumors... Are the Huns giving up?

Very nice figures Ken, particularly the one carrying the barbed wire; great feeling in his face.

Thanks Brad...my team and I are really trying to communicate a look for the time and place with our collections.

Another interesting aspect of the war, just took it for granted the wire appeared on it's own.:salute::Robin.

Totally agree with the comments below, great looking figures with very realistic facial expressions. I'm looking forward to seeing some WW2 troops.

Nice pic's and dio as well.

I agree, great figures and scene. Anything like this coming out for ACW this year? Chris

Fabulous series and just keeps getting better; well done Ken and company :salute::

These really are the best 1916 era Great War figures for a long time, really like them.

On my shopping list!

Well done WB. :salute::

If Britains' proposed"Return to World War II" produces figures of this quality we should be in for a treat. I hope similar types of vignette are in prospect for that range as well.

Several BOB era figures were previewed during Ken's presentation. Along with a few images of some great looking Schwimvagen's. The German U-Boat set is even better when you see it up close.
