This movie has a great look - I'm a big horror fan - but these big budget Hollywood movies typically fall short. I'm hoping it's not Van Helsing II. Del Toro is a great actor, though, so maybe he can pull it off. One of my favorite recent movies is "Fear in Loathing in Las Vegas" with Del Toro and Johnny Depp. "Paranormal Activity" is a great little horror flick out on DVD.

I saw Paranormal Activity and thought it was pretty scary but I have to admit that when I watched it I thought it was based on true events.When I found out it wasn't it took something away from it.

"Paranormal Activity" was marketed as the scariest movie of all time. So when people see it with that expectation they are usually disappointed. I didn't realize the tag line was "don't see it alone" which I not only did, but in an entirely empty theatre. I was the only one there. It scared the crap out of me. LOL
