I'm sorry in advance to my American friends as i know the cost of the pound is killing you guys at the moement.But i just looked on TF at the Napoleonic figures and the prices are amazing.Some of these single figures are just £12!!.However i'm sure sooner or later the dollar will swing back to your advantage guys.

Also i can easily see why you Nap collectors are so passionate about your subject,the colours of these figs just leap out and grab you don't they?.I think they are some of the best figs produced by K&C,and they are constantly calling my name!

Even in this part of the world the exchange rate is a bonus
[nothing compared to the pound of course ,where still on the
wrong side of the equation].
But its made this stuff a whole lot cheaper , and kept a lid on petrol prices or anything else priced in $US.
[exporters aint to happy but you cant please everyone ]

I didn't compare actually Brad,it just struck me how strong the pound is and it doesn't seem to be slowing much.I don't normally check out the prices on TF you see,i was just looking at the Naps and thought blimey!

The USD isn't what it used to be, makes a big difference on big ticket items, and thats just with the australian dollar, now if i was earning British Sterling

I would say you guys are going to have pretty favorable exchange rates for awhile. I have heard that some stores in New York are even accepting Euros because of our crappy economy. So enjoy it while you can. Maybe our next President can get us back on track.

Don't count on it - we have a long road of higher taxes ahead of us. I really feel sorry for the dealers - they are the ones who will pay at the cash register.

There is talk that the Hong Kong doller is looking to de tag itself off of the US doller................so the US doller will no longer be a viable purchase currency in HK, for factories!

Off to NYC this week and boy its great when your kids want stuff that is 50% cheaper! than the UK.

guys also lets balance this crazy price off!! in the UK the tax, fuel etc etc is a lot higher than in the States. Our mortages are now redicualas, due to the American banks giving money away over the years to people that could not afford them!

So i enjoy the shopping trips to the States, but try and limit the Credit card as when we get back there is 15%+ interest on the items!
