While a Minotaur's Labyrinth was never discovered in Crete, the ruins of Minos' palace at Knossos had over 1300 maze-like compartments with its numerous corridors, staircases, and rooms.

Great blending of background and scene Rob ! :salute::
I was lucky enough to visit King Mino's Palace a few years ago whilst on holiday in Crete interesting to visit even if I certainly chose the wrong time to visit with hordes of other tourists like myself taking the tour !
You've seen my own take on the myth a while ago, which you were kind enough to comment on and like, hope you don't mind me adding a couple of photos of my own take to your thread !

As you can see Theseus still has a tight grasp on Ariane's thread ! Perhaps TG would consider doing a figure of her as well !?

Really like this theme. Maybe TG’s up coming mythical figures will find a home amongst these corridors. Robin.

Really nice. I've always liked the ancient Greek stories.

Thank you Steve. Spent quite a bit of time on this little scene trying to capture what I was looking for. Currently using it as my computer background; only do that for my personal favorites. I remember your Labyrinth and seeing the Minotaur for the first time. Great stuff! I stumbled upon him last week looking for some ancient Greeks. Had to add to my collection!

Looking forward to the Gorgon/Medusa and any other Ancient Greeks from TG.

Thanks Mark. Love the mythology myself.

Posted this before, but my "inspiration poster":

Great use of that Minotaur figure! We still have a few left if anyone wants to copy your idea
