Title could have been 'Stranger Things' but that's easily confused with a TV series, best to borrow from previous similar thread titles ^&grin

Anyway, here's a thread for everything Local, Statewide, and Global etc that you find Strange.

Be it related to Traditions, Culture, Customs, Fashion, or Whatever else you think is Strange, Different, Funny, Wacky etc {eek3}

Let's start with Australia:

When I go to a restaurant, and they wrap the utensils in a napkin but then also place them in small paper bag. Cracker Barrel does that. They serve thousands of customers every day. I imagine their trash dumpster is full of such small bags at the end of every day. And there must a mountain of these small bags in the local dumps. What would archaeologists from the future make of that? That we were a society of bag worshippers?
