Nice thread Ron. I will re-think some of the items shown. I might add the Normandy US jeep to the list. That is my latest purchase and really enjoy the piece and figures. John

Thanks John - I thought it would be a great review for everyone. A lot of new folks just getting involved and this gives great food for thought - especially with prices rising.

I still think the M10 is one of the best , also as has been pointed
out the AK field gun is good buying [5 figures and gun for $149]
I also think the blackwatch figures from the Naps range give good
bang for your buck when you look at the level of painting on them.

I have the M10, and I want to tell you, that tank is fantastic and ready for battle. It is on my BB diorama, and the commander with his arm raised, is about to give the fire order. Nice detail on this one, as you can see the shells lined up inside the open turret.

Nice one Rob.I have the M10 and its a superb vehicle.I also agree about the AK field gun, very nice piece indeed.

If i could add one to the list, the American Bulge Howitzer is another must have before it goes.

I,ve realy tried to stay out of this range , but it has to be one of the sharpest K and C produces , and the M10 is still a must I reckon.

Rob , I agree that is a very good set also , another from this range I realy
like is the Mortar half track [although retired it still seems to go for about
retail]

The recently retired set 'Returning Patrol' is another one worth picking up,some great figures and a great example of K&C's superlative product.

Hey Rob,yes its a great vehicle isn't it.I managed to pick this up just before it retired, its both iconic and full of action.I think the Bulge range will run and run.

Rob

Rob , I,m not familiar with that particular set I will have to look it up.
Crossing the road is another cracker from that range .

I agree Rob,what i really like about Crossing the road is that its taken from that famous pic from the Bulge. So in this set we see how K&C have drawn from a real event from a moement of warfare. In the same vein we can see this repeated in their US Beach sets from Normandy range, again superb poses and real action.

Hi Robs,

This page of comments has more uses of the word Rob than any page in history. It's great! :)

Returning patrol and Crossing the road are both incredible sets Rob(s).
Also these four man telling a story/setting a scene sets are disappearing in favour of 1 and 2 man sets.

It's a shame really but i guess the cost of four man sets would be heading through the roof now.

Cheers guys

Rob.

erm no.. i mean James

:D:D

Its a Robert Plot to take over the forum James!

Good point about the four man sets,i wonder if Andy may return to making them in the future?.The bigger sets do set a scene as it were, another one of this type is the AK 'Questioning the Prisoner',great little story there.

As was said on the Pacific thread, these figures are really good and should be big sellers.
