Excellent dio PA and that Sherman looks like it means business and ready to take on a Tiger!

Tom

Very nice PA. Love the lighting in both pics.
The German however or the American who wrote on the wall of the house in the back should go back to school " Aus der Traum" is the correct spelling
guy:)

Guy,

Google translate : "Aus Dem Traum" translates to "From The Dream". I took the slogan from a period WWII Battle of The Bulge German Photo. Thanks For the rest !!!

PA it should read "The dream is Over" and here is the picture with the inscription. It was a German soldier who wrote it on a destroyed anti tank gun expressing the surreality of their situation in 1945. This picture was not taken during the Battle of the Bulge , but much later during the battle of Berlin
aus der.jpg( look how he writes the letter "r" in the words "der" and "traum")

There are two locations attributed to this picture.
the 1st one is the Battle of Berlin ,which I doubt and the
second one is during the Battle of the Bulge in the city of Rochefort, which is more likely .When you have a closer look you'll see the gun is a US 3inch gun M5 and the German soldier ( Panzer Lehr) is armed with a M1 Carbine ( very popular and much liked amongst German soldiers)
