That's a cool set of photo's. The AEG bomber is an underrated well built WW 1 bomber constructed of a revolutionary steel tubular frame.Combined with the excellent Mercedes 260 hp engines the aircraft served with distinction on the eastern front and in Italy. It's limited range compared to the larger Gotha and Friederichschafen bombers made it obsolete for longer range higher payload bombing missions over the English Channel. However in the rights hands of a skilled pilot and crew the AEG was very capable and was still used into 1918. In fact the only surviving German made WW1 twin engine bomber still in existence is an AEG GIV that sits at a museum in Canada albeit with married 160 hp Mercedes engines. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome looking plane. Great that it has a 3 man crew
