Hi all,

When I originally received my Thorneycroft Truck I noticed there wasn't a starting handle - just a hole for one. The model looks fully finished around that area
so I assumed this was correct.

However I have just seen Mike's great pics of his Thorneycroft A/A truck and it quite clearly has a starting handle fitted.

Are all the standard Truck versions without one or is mine missing from the manufacturer??

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers,

Roy.

Hi Roy . . . . Both of my Thorneycroft Type J Trucks (the original and the new one with AA Gun) have a starting handle . . . . . Perhaps the starting handle for yours came off in the box, or an oversight on the part of the manufacturer. Send John an email . . . . I bet he will send you the missing part.

Thanks Mike,

Very good of you to respond! It was the first thing I did after viewing your pics. I got my box out of storage went through it with a fine tooth comb - Nope, no Starting Handle.

I'll get an email off to John.

Cheers.

That's terrific news Roy . . . . Another good reason to enjoy JJD products. John always makes himself available to his customers and treats them always with the upmost respect. Great photo of the "install" by the way . . .
