No but I can hear the wife yelling down stairs for me to get off the computer...

WELLINGTON

Great display! I've been contemplating if I wanted to venture out into NAPS or not and I always said if I did I would have to purchase these pieces since they immediately caught my eye when they came out. Seeing them on display like you have them kinda is swaying me to put my WWII urges on hold for a month or two. Although I'm seeing some WWII AKs underneath the NAPs that toss my thoughts back to WWII. I'm on the fence with this one its gonna come down to a last minute decision this month with WWII vs. NAPs.

Sahara - GO WITH THE NAPS ! Right Wellington ? :D

Here is the song in my head - sing it Bob......

I awoke last night to the sound of thunder

How far off I sat and wondered

Starting humming a song from 1802* (* Napoleonic version ;) )

Aint it funny how the night moves

When you just dont seem to a much to lose

Strange how the night moves

With Autumn closing in

I just love Bob Seger !

If you do go and buy these wonderful THUNDERING HOOFS - dont forget to pick these two K&C figures - they are my favorite British Napoleonic Figures  :D ;)

Looking very nice, Ron. Definitely think those guys will represent my next venture into Napoleonics!

Cheers,

Molloy.

Hey Ron- What's with those red coated fellows lying about? Who could sleep through all that thunder. That's a fine example of Wellingtons finest!

Well I think on the day there were 8 500 of those horsemen at Waterloo. SO working on a ratio of 1:30 how many do you still need there Ron? Great display and once again it is great to see these figures en masse as they say.

Sleeping? I thought they where just hungover after a wild night partying and waiting for Ney to catch up after Quatre Bras:).

I think this French line is facing the wrong way ... or the Scots Grey have changed sides

VERY NICE DISPLAY - OD !! :D

Actually - I believe the French are closing in on the retreating Scot Greys ;)

You know Ron, they really should be Lancers closing in on those Greys:D. Alas, we have no Polish or Dutch Lancers at our disposal:(.

With no Prussians on the horizon it might be time for some Dr Who time travel dioramas:eek:! How about some WWI Uhlans flanking the Old Guard or appearing at Borodino to skewer a few Czarist troops:D!

Lancers - still might be an option out there - he didnt say anything about Lancers! ;)

We are probally going to have just one big release soon of Napoleonics you have 6 months left in this years and I would believe each month has its own big surprize - especially October - after the Chicago Show - a couple of really big items would be released.

Speaking of Dr Who, I saw in the latest issue of FineScale Modeler that Airfix has released a Dr Who TARDIS kit, with a figure of David Tennant as the Doctor, and his latest sidekick, Martha Jones (I would rather have had Billie Piper-hey now! ;) ).

Here's the URL:

It's pricey, in my opinion, but I'm still thinking about getting it, because it looks pretty cool. They give the scale as 1/12th.

Prosit!
Brad

That is interesting but I agree they should have used Billie Piper; of course they should not have replaced her with Martha Jones in the series either.;)

Time for a little art ! :D
