It's official...I get to make the jaunt across the pond for the London Show. Never been to that fine city before, so I'm quite looking forward to it.

I look forward to meeting all the fellow Treefroggers.

Rob, is the Imperial War Museum quite a distance from the Royal National?

That's great. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.

Wow, sounds like a fun trip, Pete.
Hope you are going to enjoy it to the most.
The London Show and meeting with the attending British Treefroggers is one item on my "most wanted" list.
Hope it will come true some time.

Peter,

if you were made as welcome as I was in June when I ventured half way around the world to see toy soldiers AND enjoy a beer with the guys, I'm sure you won't regret the trip.

12:30 at the bar... if I recall :) :)

Nothing is far in London, use the tube, (if its not on strike) and goto the Imperial War Museum.

Another great day can be spent visiting the Army Museum in Chelsea, and then there are the Guards Museum and the Household Cavalry Museum both closeby to Buckingham Palace. When you are there, check out the Guards Toy Soldier Shop and visit Tradition of London too.

How long did you say you were over for?????

Nice one. Look forward to seeing you there. As John says, 12.30 at the bar if you can prise yourself away. In fact, it's pretty much all afternoon in the bar. It is customary however, to get a couple of pints in your hand, then wonder around the show drinking them in front of Tony Neville and Clive Gande. It provokes an interesting response. :).
Cheers

Hi Peter

I look forward to saying "Hello" at the December Show.

I've attached a map showing some of the London Tube Stations and I've marked some that could be useful on your trip

Thanks guys! I regretably may miss the 12:30 in the bar as I'll have a table to mind. I'm going to have a bunch of Argentine stuff (Beau Geste, Honour Bound, Four Feathers, etc). Might even have some Hudson & Allen (as it would pack neatly in the suitcase. We'll see.

Looking forward to it!

What usually happens is that everyone spends the money they bought to the show before going to the bar and then after a few beers they go and spend some more......
