Does anyone have either the four man Tiger crew or the nine figure set of German tank riders and crew? I was wondering how well they might match up with the Dragon 1/35 scale tanks. I know they might be a tad on the small side but....

Frontline tank riders and crew are 1/32 scale which would be larger for 1/35 vehicles. FOV vehicles are a good match for Frontline riders and crew. Look under thread General soldier discussion under Corgi with figures. UCLA1967 says he got figures set up with FOV Tiger. Leadmen

Thanks John. I had a brain f##rt in scale aspect. I am trying to get some different crews for these Dragon 1/35 tanks without painting soldiers since I don't have the talent for that. I already have the Dragon 1/35 Wittman crew but don't want to take them out of the package. Maybe I just need to buy another set .

Brian have you looked on ebay. They have a lot of painted panzer crew men in 1/35 scale.

Alex I checked E-bay but didn't see any painted sets. Lots of unpainted ones. I might have to take some lessons and learn to paint on my own. Unfortunately I don't have the time right now..Thnaks for the idea though,I'll keep searching.

Do a search for " 1/35 built" and you should find them and also tanks. Here is one of several that I found.

Thanks Alex. Yes that search showed a few of what I'm looking for. There not cheap thats for sure.

You can make me an offer for these four little guys if you have a hard time finding some.

Sorry for the late response Alex. These guys are a little too relaxed for me. I am looking to match them up with the Dragon Winter Tiger or the AK version. Your time and workmanship is worth something to you and I would hate to insult you with an offer. I really admire your work you post on the forum and truely believe that yourself and some of the others have talent that should be marketed by some of these larger companies. Keep up the great work...

Great suggestion Alex:

In fact refine your eBAy sort with "built 1/35".

You'll get a ton of great selections.

alex-your pic of the tiger with relaxed crew blew me away-i beleive
that tank is from tamiya that came out last year with crew.where
did the engine come from?i don't beleive it came with the kit.is the engine
a verlinden accessory one-how did you get it in the chassis-i had the verlinden engine for the dragon 3 n1 initial tiger 1-the engine was too large for the engine compartment-i had cut down the engine alot and it still was too big to place in the tiger 1 compartment-i have to admire your craftsmanship and skill with your pic-beautiful work-joe

Thanks, actually the engine is a Tamiya kit. So it fits perfectly. It has a service crew and a Panther and Tiger engine and some other accessories like a ladder, toolbox, etc.

Alex: Very nice Tiger and crew. You are killing me, just when I think no more 1/35 kits you post a beautiful Tiger and crew. Now I want to do another one. I think FOV and ready made vehicles should be my main interest when out comes a neat model. Now I am confused. Will Great Models or Squadron get an order soon:eek: Did the kit come with Zimmerit or did you add it on? John

John, I used the Cavalier zimmerit kit. Maybe you can buy the ready made one and custom detail it if you need to or concentrate on just the figures.

john-dragon did a late tiger 1 3n1 kit with zimmerit,photo etch,brass barrel.
greatmodels.com has it-these kits do take some skill-especially doing the
track which comes in individual pieces.i tried the dragon tiger 1 initial prod.
version 3 n1 kit and realized i was over my head as far as skill i have-i jumped at the dragon armor version already made.i figured having to buy a good spraygun, many bottles of paint, photo etch bender, paint brushes,etc-the
dragon armor 1/35th scale tigers are a steal-joe
