Hi K&C just wondering how long will we have to wait for another Tiger.I no that some are coming but can you let out of the bag how much longer.I would love to see any summer or grey one soon.I still have not have a K&C Tiger tank in my collection.Holding off all other companies waiting for K&C to release one.Simmo.

Simmo,
I am with you ! We need a new Tiger.
However I am worried that if Andy reads the other thread on the Wittmann Tiger he might never do one as he will be too busy counting the rivets !!!
Regards
Brett

I don't think you'll have to wait too much longer Simmo, bound to be one along soon.I'd love to add a Grey one to my Tiger collection.I'm no rivet counter myself,I've always found K&C AFV's to be superb, thats why I've got loads of them!.If people want to study something to the enth degree thats entirely up to them and good luck, but I think it would be very hard to build a collection like that.I guess its all down to where each of us draw our boundaries.

Some collectors like to get into the detail - it's part of the hobby for some collectors. Very few expect a perfectly historical tank and those guys build their own model kits. And Andy doesn't care - he makes them as he chooses to anyway.

But if he does make one historically correct, we will limit sales to intellectuals. :p:D:D

What you trying to say.............:D

Wayne,
I think he is saying that if any one of your current K&C items is historically correct then you are an intellectual. Quick go have a look !.

An Eastern Front Winter Tiger would be most welcome and "long awaited";...However I hope it matches the quality and detail of the Tunsian Tiger with the exception of the air intake grills which would be better as a photo etch part........the K/C King Tiger released last year was a "big dissappointment" for me:(.....Really a step backward for K/C Tanks IMO.....I am looking forward to a well thought out excetional product from K/C to answer all their toy soldier rival manufacturers;)

"I am looking forward to a well thought out excetional product from K/C to answer all their toy soldier rival manufacturers"

You mean like the two recent Winter vehicles ?:D:D:D
Actually I don't think one vehicle will make a difference. K&C with it's variety of ranges, vehicles and reliability is way ahead of any rival. Whilst others may win the occasional skirmish the war is well and truly won.

No tiger but a firefly and comet and A10 >

Hi Vezzolf, I am curious to know what was your big disappointment with the King Tiger release last year?? I do not have one yet but plan on having it on my Christmas list, to me it looks like a beauty of a tank, am I missing something??...Sammy

Hi Sammy, The K/C King Tiger released last year for me was a big disappointment.....It is a very bland tank.....Color seems wrong....no weathering....It is quite lacking for me.....Simply a step back for K/C IMO......Their best tanks to date are the Tunsian Tiger, Panzer IV both desert and grey versions, as well as the Panzer II.....I will sell you mine if you would like it......drop me a pm....Vezzolf

A tad arrogant do you not think

I suggest you look at the evolution of business; few companies remain at the top of their game forever. So the war (winning consumers) is not won.

Cheers

Gazza

I'm thinking those 1st Airborne lads will see a Tiger coming across the Arnhem bridge!

Gazza,
Regarding your comment.

As regards winning consumers at the present I don't think it can be disputed that there would be considerably more K&C consumers than for any other brand. What the situation is ten years from now nobody knows.
Britains would in terms of variety would, in my opinion, be number No 2 although that is more for figures than for vehicles. Some of the other smaller brands are making excellent items in terms of figures and vehicles and this encourages improvements all around.
I was talking all around variety but could also throw in reliability and availability of stock.

That would be interesting but I do not know if Tigers were used at Arnhem. Maybe someone can help and provide that info.

Stating with 2 tigers, there were eventually approximately 15 tigers including a few Tiger IIs at Arnhem. One of the Tiger IIs was destroyed there as were some of the Tigers including one of the first 2 that arrived.

I'm disappointed that TCS beat K&C to a new winter panther. I like TCS a lot, but K&C is still my favorite. Others don't mind making something K&C has done in the past. But, Andy is less likely to do so. So, if you're listening Andy, please make a Pershing tank soon!!! :)
