recieved my Wittman Tiger today and boy, am i impressed. great detail and paint. figures are easily equal of KC. do not fret over the Zimmerit. it is distinctive but not overwhelming in any way. this Tiger is quite larger than the KC Tiger in every dimension. it looks great and more importantly it looks right. the 88 is 1/4" longer than KC and the hull is 1/2" longer and up to a 1/4" wider. over all it is a superior piece. i will be buying a Marder and some figures now that i have gotten the Tiger. Do you mean it's larger than the latest K & C Tunisian/Desert Tiger

If so, I would like to see some photos of the two models side by side.

Or please list the dimensions of the CS model if you are unable to post pics.

sorry for confusion OzDigger. i meant the older issue Tigers from KC, WS025 and WS043. i do not have, nor have i seen KC Tunisian Tiger. i will get dimensions later. i need to get something decent to measure with besides an old wooden ruler. -- lancer

I just bought a Tunisian Tiger off of Ebay. When it comes in a few days, I will compare it to the Wittmann Tiger I just got from CS.

OzDigger. I havew both the Tunisian and several of the new CS Tigers. They are almost identical in size in every way. K&C Tiger's barrel is just slightly longer and barrell diameter of CS is just slightly larger on third section.

I just received my Tunisian Tiger today. Yes, on visual comparison, they are very similar in size and very complimentary. I have them sitting side by side on a shelf, and they look great together. I am working on a comparison in measurements and hope to have photos too before week's end.

Comparing CS Tiger and the KC Tunisian Tiger: The KC Tunisian Tiger has a larger turret, combat weathering, nicer hull machine gun, nicer skirts, sculpting of figures are better, appears more imposing, hull size is relatively the same. CS Tiger has a nice commander's cupola mg, which KC never makes. All in all though, the CS Tiger is a nice model and I was very happy to buy it. I would recommend it. Matches side by side with any KC vehicle.
