Tim Reese's Arts of War (1 Viewer)

That's an interesting style of work, very much like Andrea Jouineau but he covers more nationalities. I like it. As basic info I want to know where a pocket was for example, I can figure out the creases myself.:D

My question would be, does he list the actual sources for the color plates? If so, that looks like a really interesting resource.

Yes, Tim’s Uniform CD’s do include a list of sources. The plates are excellent reference for figure painting.

The kilt ribbons are actually worn by the Black Watch (sergeants and above) I believe. He also doesn't show that the Gordons are the only regiment(regular) to wear black spat buttons. Still a useful resource, along with other reference.
