Ok Guys

I have started this thread for all of us to talk about what we "the experts" :p think will be retired in May.

Think about it - this is a serious question. Due to the great number of things brought out on the market by K&C - the retirement list will be long in May (IMO).................and when things get retired - dealers either pull them off the selves (not you Shannon;) ) or the prices on the secondary market jump real quick to DOUBLE the orginial cost.

So lets have some serious thought provoking discussion on where our next purchases should be. :D

Well as there was lots of Napoleonic retirements in April maybe it will be WW2 this month.I can see perhaps some of the older D day stuff going?.Maybe the Churchill or perhaps the Prime mover.I still think the Bulge range is still a little young for retirements.Perhaps the Egyptian line might see its first goodbyes?.

Rob

Yep - Churchill is my pick a for TANK RETIREMENT

Not sure where else he will go?? Andy did come out with alot of WS Germans - usually that means thats where the next round of retirement go as well.

So in the WS - whats out?

Maybe tank ambush or Fighting Patrol?.Or perhaps the Jagdpanther riders. All these sets have been around a while so they may go.I just hope what is retired is as few as possible, one or two sets would be ok.

Rob

I think you'll get a big Blue Napoleon for that Brad!

Rob

Maybe if they are not so popular, some of the early Fall of Berlin sets might go?.

Rob

Using this form of logic for my argument: if a pig is an animal and a dog is an animal - a pig is a dog.

Using that style of logic: Andy is British and Napoleon is not British, Wellingto won and Napoleon lost - the retired items will be all French Napoleonic. :p :D :D

What do I really think will be retired? There are a lot of WWII items that have been released for a long time now and perhaps the shelves are getting bear.

Michael

You took in too much sea water didnt you? :p

Napoleonics are the best sellers - FRENCH THE VERY BEST - I thought you knew that......

Really - where do you think he is going go to retire some of these items?

I just believe he will bang on some German set because he brought out so many new WS Germans - usually thats how he does it.
