Ok, before I'm dragged through the town square I realize I'm using a Winter German with my late War Germans, but I love the design and uniform of the Winter German and his uniform doesn't look to far off the other Germans, either way. I like the display. ....

In the chaos of 1945 I am sure the Germans wore whatever they could get hold of. They are your toy soldiers display them how you please is my philosophy. And you have a good job with these.

NZ Gary is exactly correct… In the final months of the war in 1945, the Germans wore whatever they could get, so there was always that interesting and non-standard appearance to the uniforms. That is something First Legion and, actually, W. Britains have replicated well with their Battle of the Bulge and Late War German figures.
