Rob,

I think fishead got that mold. Britains' kneeling deetail knock-off. Love the Highlanders.

Vamp do you mean the one from (Miniature Molds) that pose does look o.k.
even for a Britains Detail Knock off.. I have used some of there molds (Spartans) again Britains Knock offs did not think that much of the them.
I find PRINCE AUGUST molds a Better but they are not cheap and very limited in there poses anyway.
Cheers :) P.S if only i could sculp

these look fantastic ragnar,i have painted a couple of this set myself and they are fun to paint .what paints are you using?

Yeah, those highlanders are great!! The best what Timpo has to offer. Even I own a set of them. And pretty accurate. Very nice paintjob on them.

Ragnar: Here are painted hard plastic Timpo Highlanders sold some years ago. I bought them from Hobby Bunker at the time. Leadmen

Hi John,

Thanks for posting these pictures. They certainly document what a wonderful painter you are!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

great stuff leadmen a lot of work has gone in to them,i am currently painting some italeri french artillery and seems it just takes forever.
love your airfix french
thanks for posting ,i love see other peoples work

Nice work Leadmen i have also painted the AIP french gun one of there best sets i think.

Thanks guys: One thing about the factory painted Timpo figures is the paint on this type of molds never flakes off. They look as good has the day I got them. The Vikings and some other sets were made by a secret process where the colors were molded right into the figures. No flaking or paint loss. Leadmen
