Before I collected K&C I was into plastic figures. Back in the early 90,s I bought some Timpo U.S. cavalry figures, they were swoppets, you could switch them at the waist. I,ve been putting these old plastic figures on Ebay and listed the above Timpo at .99 cents, I personally thought they were junk!
They just sold for $158.
Any of you Brits know why these are so valuable? I didn,t have a clue, however I,m more than pleasantly surprised.

Before I collected Little Legion and K&C, I collected Timpo Swoppets heavily. They got me into collecting, I had Timpo when I was younger.

I think the prices for some of the figures are do to rarity. The Union Soldiers with the White Glove were produced last and very few were made, Confederates are even tougher. The cowboys and Indians are quite reasonable as well as some of the knigts and crusaders. Although there are some few rare color combos that are expensive.

My favorites are

1. Military Train set
2. The American and German Tanks
3. Romans and Chariot
4. Vikings
5. GI FlameThrower
6. British Medical Tent

I have many of the wagons, trains setsand to many figures to list, Altough I never went back and picked any of the forts. I have not puchaced any Timpo for about 5 years.

Although I check EBAY looking for the last wagon I need, the Ambulance set.
